Everyone likes to try and fundraise for a charity, its’s a nice thing to do, right? Well guys, i may have lost my bloody mind!!
This year is all about challenging myself and pushing beyond my comfort zone, i think i may be about to do that, hopefully not too much!
I am taking part in the Liverpool Cathedral Abseil for the Claire House childrens charity! Mad isn’t it!!
On the 22nd of August 2020 i will be abseiling 150 ft down the front of Liverpool’s Gothic Anglican Cathedral to fundraise for this great charity. Sounds great fun doesn’t it? Well it would be, except i am terrified of heights!! I mean terrified! I must have lost my mind. However the work these guys do needs our support.
As i said 2020 is the year i challenge myself and this is just part of that. Therefore before i trust my life to a thin rope, i will also be taking part in 20-mile Great Orme Giant Walk in March and the 15-mile Wirral Coastal Walk in June, I am also hoping to complete a trip up Snowdon as well before the abseil.
Claire House is an amazing charity that provides help to children who are seriously or terminally ill live life to the full by creating wonderful experiences and bringing a sense of normality to family life. They provide specialist nursing and emotional care at a time when families really need it.
My minimum fundraising target is £200.00, but i am sure with the 4 different events i am doing we can smash that target out of the water.
Every £1 helps!!
I know times are tough for a lot of people at the momet, but these guys need all the help we can give. If you would like to donate please follow the link below to my JustGiving Page.
